| Some of the talks given at our recent services have been digitally recorded and made available for on-line listening from this web page. Our equipment is quite simple so please forgive any minor blemishes in the recordings. Not all of the talks are included in the recording schedule, as some of them, such as those making heavy use of visual aids, do not work well as pure audio presentations.
Talks are of two main types:
Exhortation
- These are words of encouragement on some aspect of Christian life, leading up to the sharing of bread and wine in the Communion Service
- Typical length 20 - 25 minutes
Bible Hour
- These are presentations of Bible teaching, or Bible-related activities and experiences. The topic addressed is summarised in a title.
- Typical length 30 - 40 minutes
Listening to a Talk
- To listen to a talk, click on an item in the sub-menu on the left and, if prompted, open the downloaded file with Windows Media Player.
- NOTE:
- At present this facility appears only to work easily with the latest Windows Media Player 11. Earlier versions can produce error messages and either totally fail to play back the talk or only proceed with knowledgable interventions from the user.
